New Show (for us)

Well, hubby and I have finally moved onto new 'episodes.' See, that's just sort of what we call it. When we're not sure if the other one already has plans for after the kids are in bed, we'll say, "Episode?" So you realize our dilemma when we finished Deadwood on Netflix last week.

After browsing through Netflix for nearly half an hour, we watched one episode of the Walking Dead. Honestly, I wanted to love it, but it really didn't draw me in. So we took a break after that first episode.

The next night, however, we found something that will take up a few nights (probably into the new year). One of my suggestions was Murder, She Wrote (with 300 and some episodes, we wouldn't have to pick another one for a long, long time), but I didn't fight too hard for it.

We're watching Sons of Anarchy. I read great things about it in friends' status online. The one thing that really, really annoys me is that one of the main characters is 'Jax.' Shortening Jackson to Jax...drives. me. insane. I'd like to say I'm getting used to it, but after just a couple episodes, it's still bugging the snot out of me. I just call him Jackson. And I also can't stand his hair. Although he looks all right with his shirt off :D

Now, no spoilers, of course...do you watch Sons of Anarchy? Or is there something you think we're really missing out on by choosing it this time?

We just finished season 4 of SOA... I thought it was hilarious, but after a few of the marathon viewings I was having dreams/nightmares of blowing stuff up lol Like I said I it was very entertaining.

Have you tried Weeds or Californication? My faves and they kinda go quick at 30 min a pop.

We got addicted to The Walking Dead. It's kids of like a horror flick crossed with a soap opera! Sometimes the writing can be bad. (I'm not really selling it, am I?) But I love it anyway! We got all caught up on Netflix, then we had to buy the current season on Amazon Online b/c we were so hooked! We've also watched Breaking Bad on Netflix. This one is also kind of disturbing (especially the first one or two episodes) but kind of addictive. I've watched Californication too - funny and edgy. I'll have to check out SOA...

Hey, now that I think about it, you really need to give The Walking Dead a few more episodes. You are a zombie lover, yes!? (Or a zombie hater?) Either way, the show will help prepare you for the zombie apocalypse! You must learn these things!
