12 Days of Christmas - Day 12

So daunting to pick just one more thing for Day 12!

I already have little ideas creeping around that may need to go in a 'stocking stuffers' idea list.

I keep coming back to thinking about clothes, but I can't possibly expect someone else to figure out what I want if  I can't find it myself, right? I love my hoodies, and I really like the sweater I posted earlier. I'll want either skinny pants/jeans or leggings to go with that tunic sweater, and possibly some other tunic tops/sweaters too.

Or new pots/pans, or dishes, or towels. Hmmmm...

Okay. While all of those are valid ideas (albeit without details), my 12th day request (hehehe) will be for a gift certificate for an experience I wouldn't pay for myself. The first two ideas to come to mind are a massage, or a night out at Painting with a Twist.

How's that for a creative finale? ;)

12 Days of Christmas - Day 11

BUNNY SLIPPERS!!

No, really. I love my bunny slippers. The last couple years I've been lucky enough to get a couple pairs, so I switch at June, since the first pair is usually falling apart by then. I think they're usually size medium (my shoes are a 7 or 8).

I do not like them to go up over my heels - just the slides are my favorite.

I've had this exact pair before - they're great.

Oh, and 'bunny' slippers don't necessarily have to be bunnies, of course..

I could wear Rudolph....

or even unicorns :)

As long as my tootsies stay warm, I'm good!

12 Days of Christmas - Day 10

Well, here's a real risk. I'm having so much fun out looking for things I may want that I'm not sure I'll really want to stop at 12 days! Hahaha...

Today's wish list item is something I've never tried, but some women in a Facebook page I hang out on were strongly recommending it.It's Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick from Too Faced. They all love the nude, so I'd probably want to try either that color or the Berry. I'm so nervous about half the in-between color, because a pink with orange undertones always leans toward old-lady red/orange on me. Which is not what I'm going for ;)

I've been wearing a gloss when I think of it, but hardly ever get color on my lips. This stuff is supposed to be sort of a combination of a lip stain and a gloss. Sounds like a win to me!

12 Days of Christmas - Day 9

I like the look of all the leggings or skinny jeans lately (yeah, I'm probably a couple years too late again, but whatever). But what I really need is long shirts or tunics to wear with something like that before I take the plunge on more than the two pair of skinny pants I've got so far.

I believe I'd be a size medium, and I like any of the colors besides the red. Want to really make my holiday? A pair of matching/complementary leggings or skinny pants would be awesome and a new outfit would be complete.

I bought myself one new sweater going into this fall, and wore it for Thanksgiving with our families. But it has already shrunk. It was never intended to be a tunic, but today I had to wear a long tank top underneath it so I didn't feel so exposed. And the sleeves don't reach my wrists anymore. Oh well. Hopefully I'll have better luck with this tunic, or something else similar and warm.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 8

I think this is another item that typically makes my list every year.

Aqua Eyes eyeliner from Make Up For Ever. Although I don't really wear much makeup, eyeliner is on my must list. I usually make it out the door with a bit of powder, eyeliner and mascara. I tend to like the darker colors - blacks, greys, browns, or even dark greens or purples.

This is definitely my favorite brand of eyeliner ever. I tried some Urban Decay from Ulta before (just because Ulta is closer to my house), but the Aqua Eyes is definitely 'more favorite.' It's available at Sephora.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 7

Wow - this has been a hard one to find! I'd like some new PJs. I get cold way too easily, and buttons all the way down the shirt drive me crazy. I usually sleep in PJ pants and a sweatshirt, but would love something cuter.

Aren't these neat? They're the Nick and Nora Women's Union Suit from Target. This is the Downhill Monkeys pattern, but the Aqua/Penguin would be nice too. Unfortunately, of all the measurements they give for determining size, they don't include a height, which to my mind would be pretty important. I'm 5'8", so I'm guessing I'd probably want a medium, based on everything else.

I'd considered a traditional footie PJ, but I usually take my socks off to sleep. Having my feet not only covered, but with seams on the ends of my toes, doesn't sound very appealing. Besides, how would my new slippers fit on over the footies of new PJs?

12 Days of Christmas - Day 6

12 Days of Christmas - Day 5

I love, love, love this stuff. It's the Skin Savior Waterless Beauty Balm from One Love Organics. I originally received a smaller size of it in a Birchbox beauty subscription a couple years ago, then accidentally left it in a hotel room and had to buy another.

I bought the big one, and it's lasted me nearly a couple years! Yay! This is what I use to take off my eye makeup. It says not to use it on your eyes, but I've been doing it for a couple years and haven't had any issues. It doesn't burn, but does completely remove my waterproof eyeliner and mascara (with a little help from a washcloth in the shower).

This is one of those things that is sort of questionable on my wish list, because if I don't get it, I'll go buy it. It's a must have for me as a beauty supply, and I don't have many of those.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 4

One of the downfalls of starting this earlier is that I may see things I wish I'd mentioned after my list is supposed to be done. I guess I'll deal with that if it happens ;)

I think I've had something on my list every year having to do with Shaun of the Dead or zombies :) This year I saw this hoodie a few weeks ago.

I would love to rock this in a small, I think (since they're unisex hoodies), in the Dark Heather color ($29.99). What do you think?

And more importantly, have you seen the movie so you understand the references? If not, please do. You won't be sorry.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 3

I saw these mentioned in Good Housekeeping last week and thought they looked really cool! They're Flash Tattoos - temporary tattoos for grown-ups. They look like jewelry - my favorites are the Lena or Josephine ones that are like bangle bracelets.

I'm not even sure where I'd wear them, but that's why they'd make a cool gift. I doubt I'd buy them for myself, but I can sort of imagine wearing them probably in summer? (Annddd.. now I hear the voice of Olaf the snowman in my head, "in SUMMER!!!")

Sorry. The snow is already driving me a bit batty.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 2

I have a little counter in my kitchen where there's usually a Scentsy warmer/scenter. I have a candy corn one, a birdhouse for the spring, an Easter egg, and a Santa suit. But I don't have anything for between Christmas and Easter... How about this guy:

I think he'll be perfect! Back before we had kids, I had a holiday tree just decorated with penguins. Our holiday tree still has lots of them, but we've added other things as our history has grown. You can get this dude for me at my friend Brandy's Scentsy site. I think there is usually a bundle to get him with some of the smellies - nothing floral, please!
