Huh. Shopping should be fun, right? I've only got a few more days until my birthday, but nothing is really jumping out that I need...
Cookie jar?
Shoes?
Quality make-up brushes?
All good ideas, but when I look online for specifics, I'm not seeing exactly the one I want.
I need clothes too, but I'm pretty sure I'd be at the same point. It's just not a decisive day in my world.
I want more time.
I want motivation.
I want more true friends.
I want my favorite people to live closer to me.
I want to be surrounded by positive people.
I want ready-to-eat, delicious, healthy food.
I want six-pack abs.
I want eternal good health for my family and friends.
I want hair that looks great in a ponytail with no effort.
I want hair-free legs, without shaving.
I want a self-cleaning office.
I want my children to be happy.
I want a money tree in the backyard.
I want the mommy wars to end.
I want new flooring in my house.
I want a new doorwall.
I want Jack to want to potty in the potty.
I want more ice cream.
I want my back pain to be gone.
I want to wear high heels again.
I want the laundry to do itself.
What else should I want for my birthday??

They Say it's MY Birthday! - Post 1
Remember back when you were a kid, and you spent half the year looking forward to Christmas, and half the year looking forward to your birthday?? Well, at least if you have a summer birthday. That was the story of my material accumulations. I had a wish list for each, and they were pretty evenly spaced. I'm going to stick with it, and in much the same manner as I posted my holiday wish list, I'm going to give you a few suggestions in the next week or so of birthday gift ideas for me. Cuz I'm nice that way ;)
I got a sample size of this stuff in an Ipsy box (see, retailers? These things WORK!). I happen to have found a link to it at Sephora, but I'm sure other beauty supplies have it too.
The Bb Straight Blow Dry cream really made my hair less frizzy and easier to blow out. I suspect it may help it be less frizzy if I just left it on my somewhat curly hair too.
Buutttt... If I'm gonna work with the curls anyway, maybe I should go back to the fun stuff I got years ago in a Birchbox (is there an echo in here??) - Miss Jessie's Quick Curls.
Seriously, either one would be good. Lately I've resorted to trying to use a tiny, itsy-bitsy, teeny amount of coconut oil to smooth it down just a bit. I smell great, but inevitably end up looking greasy.
Obviously, I'm not super committed to either one, but I would like one of them to use every day. Do you have another suggestion? I'm really never trying to blow my hair out super straight, just smooth-ish and less frizzy...
