12 Days of Christmas - Day 12

The last day always comes with so much pressure! When I struggle to find something I want to post about other days, there's even more need to find just the right thing for the last day, because there's no more chances!

In the same way I love my fish and aquarium downstairs, I think I would really enjoy an easy-to-maintain plant for my office windowsill. I'm not sure how hearty these air plants are, but I need something that can tolerate the cold breeze by the window. I considered the zombie chia pet for a few minutes, but this looked a bit more soothing.

If an air plant isn't going to make it without lots of warmth, another hearty plant will surely do just fine. Just a little living company next to me - a bit of inspiration and focus when I'm trying to buckle down and get my office work done.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 11

For day 11, I'm requesting some basic makeup. I think this is something that makes it to my list every year. 

I still love the MakeUp Forever Aqua Eyes Eyeliner. I'd actually like to try the S20 (Satiny Navy Blue), the M10 (matte Charcoal Grey), and the M80 (matte Plum) to my collection.

I'm also running low on my Covergirl - Bombshell Volume by Lashblast mascara. I always use black.

The eyeliner is available at Sephora (where the link above is to) or maybe Ulta. I've actually gotten the mascara at Target.

12 Days of Christmas - Day Ten

Sometimes, adulting is sad.

Like when you think, really hard, about what you want, and realize your daily life would be easier with a new vacuum. Yeah.

Do I need to add that this vacuum will replace the one we got each other as our anniversary present almost a decade ago? Hahaha...

But yes, I would love a new Dyson vacuum. The multi-floor one looks cool, as we have hardwood and carpet on the first level, and will be switching it all to hardwood eventually (but will then, I'm sure, still have rugs).

We also have one cat, but she's old and tends to shed in clumps. So the hair isn't a big issue for me, and she won't be around forever.

I've been really happy with our general Dyson from way back when. It's purple, so I think it's the animal version from years ago. The big ball looks cool - is it? If you have a vacuum you love, let me know about it! I'm hoping Santa will bring me a new one.

12 Days of Christmas - Day Nine

I always put another cozy hoodie sweatshirt on my list. I've seen a few around Facebook as sponsored posts lately, but I couldn't find any of those when I went searching tonight. LOL I need to start writing this stuff down as I go!

But I always love a good t rex joke. So this sweatshirt from Cafe Press is right up my alley. Grey or any other color is better than white for me, but this one had dark text that of course wouldn't show up on black or navy - so the grey one in a size medium is totally where it's at.

Other classics are the 't rex doesn't like high-fives' or 'if you're happy and you know it clap your...aw!' I have no idea why all the short-arm t rex shirts amuse me so much, but they do :D

12 Days of Christmas - Day Eight

I totally need another one of these. See, I have one from years ago, but whenever I'm baking, I inevitably fill up one cooling rack and have more cookies to cool before the first set are really ready to go to a plate or cookie jar.

So as much as I try not to be picky, I need another Pampered Chef cooling rack. There's even a two-pack, if you're feeling generous. But they have to be these awesome Pampered Chef ones so they'll stack with the one I already have. Brilliant, eh?

It looks like their holiday cut-off for regular delivery isn't til December 18, so there's still plenty of time to order.

While we're on the subject of baking, I'd also love a fun, quirky cookie jar. I'm not seeing just the right one on my search, but keep an eye out - maybe you'll see just the one I'll love. <3

12 Days of Christmas - Day Seven

I think I had a hard time finding a specific example for this one because it's so general. LOL

I would love a couple layering turtleneck shirts. Lands End had a few in tall sizes, which would really be ideal. I usually wear a size medium in shirts.

Turtlenecks just make me feel cozy, you know? Here's some at Target, but they say juniors, which I am not. But that is a nice color, for what it's worth...

Target also showed some that were elbow length, which looked really cool. If I'm talking about a layering piece anyway, I'll usually have something else over it, so the sleeve length isn't very important. The tall thing would be cool though, to stay down over the top of my pants.

12 Days of Christmas - Day Six

Super easy one today! Amazon has this fabulous auto decal that I need for my Durango.

It's only 4x4, so I wish it was larger, but I suppose it'll have to do. I love sloths, and I'm way to worn out by evening to consider partying, so it's pretty darn accurate.

I wish I could see if it's actually black and white, or parts of it are clear. That could be complicated since my vehicle is black, but I'm sure we'll figure out something to make it work.

If only I could make sloths work into my sales team stuff somehow. I don't think the whole lazy thing will work so well with motivation. LOL

12 Days of Christmas - Day Five

My fifth holiday wish list item this year is PJs :)

These pictures are all from Old Navy's site. While I'm not exceptionally picky about the color or pattern, I thought the fleece or micro fleece drawstring pants looked comfy (probably in a medium), and I want a simple, long-sleeved top without buttons (probably in a large).

I've been wearing my old PJ pants for so many years that they're starting to disintegrate. And I've had a few favorite sweatshirts I wore with them, but they died this year as well. I'm down to one pair of PJ pants I usually wear with the last standing sweatshirt or the one-piece PJs I got last year for Christmas.

They don't have to be from Old Navy, but this is where I found pictures of some of what I was imagining.

12 Days of Christmas - Day Four

Some of the things I enjoy receiving stay the same from year to year. While I did get planner stickers to decorate my Erin Condren planner last year, I'd love some more this year!

In my 'research,' I came across JaxandPepper on etsy.com. I came across several sets that I think I would like, including the Winter Bunny, Dreamy Forrest, Vintage Modern, Simplicity, Grey Peony, Stay Warm, and Boho Dream sets.

If you know me, you can probably guess which stickers I'd like. I just really want them to be already printed (vs printable), and designed to fit my Erin Condren vertical life planner.

12 Days of Christmas - Day Three

I've really enjoyed wearing leggings the last few months, but I'm also perpetually cold in the winter. Buh-bye leggings?

According to Mom Among Chaos and the reviews on Amazon, these SEJORA Fleece Lined Leggings will keep me comfy and a bit warmer than the very popular (but thinner) leggings I've been wearing until now.

But for the sake of my sanity, my dignity, and my old back, NOT those shoes. For real?
And the leggings can be any color they offer, EXCEPT the khaki. We've all seen those pictures right? Yeah. I don't want to be accused of going pantless. Ugh.

12 Days of Christmas - Day Two

My second holiday wish finally came to me when I saw the GIANT bags of birdseed while we were picking up a few groceries tonight.

I purposely left our double shepherd's hook out by the front walkway when my flower baskets died because I would LOVE to put a couple birdhouses on the hooks. Since they're next to each other, two with similar styles would be best.

It's all planned out in my head - I'll keep one of those huge covered Home Depot buckets on the porch with the seed and a scoop, so when I do get my boots and such on, I can fill up the feeders for all my new little friends.

12 Days of Christmas - Day One

Apparently I'm getting a late-ish start on my holiday list! Every year, I start listing things I'm putting on my holiday wish list on December 1. For the next 12 days, I'll list things I want, and usually where to get them, as a convenience for those who love me :) Hubby actually asked why there wasn't a post for today yet!

I saw something last weekend that I KNEW I had to have. My kids have tons of those little collectible things that serve no real purpose, but none are as creepily adorable as Zomlings! These little guys come in blind bags, or packages, and it looks like usually little houses or hotels. I can build a whole city to relieve stress in my office!

I'm slowly walking away from all the Zomling unboxing videos on YouTube right now, but once I get done with end-of-month and caught back up with my to-do list, I think I may need to do some watching to familiarize myself with how best to build my town.

Can't wait to get started with my own cute little undead collection!
