We got a big laugh when one of hubby's co-workers first saw our house and wanted to laugh because our coat closet was so much smaller than his, til he turned around and saw that we had two. So there, Mike!
But my plans of using one for our coats, and the other for guest's never came to fruition. Instead, the coat closet I intended to be empty except for the vacuum cleaner also holds several bulky coats. I keep considering whether we should check out CoatRacks.com for standing coat racks. Although we'd then need to store that somewhere most of the time, when we had guests over during 'coat' season, we'd have somewhere attractive and convenient for them to hang their stuff.
