Today I wanted to feature some of the freebies and discounts for veteran's today! I'm grateful not only for our veterans, but also for these businesses who help to show our appreciation :)
Applebee's - Veterans get a free entree!
Lowes - is offering 10% off for veterans (this is actually good every day!), plus some financing deals and other sales.
Outback Steakhouse - is giving a free Bloomin Onion and a beverage to honor veterans.
Chili's - Veterans get a free entree from the posted menu!
Krispy Kreme - Veterans and active duty military get a free doughnut!
I also saw mention of, but was unable to find proof of, discounts and freebies at Texas Roadhouse, Home Depot, Famous Dave's BBQ, and the Melting Pot. Call your local store and check if any of these are on your agenda today :)

Awesome Friday info and I"m sooo happy that there are soo many places offering things for Veterans. :) I personally feel that it should be Veterans Day like every day, because everyday there are thousands of our troops protecting, defending, and fighting for our beautiful country. I think Veterans should be honored all the time and should be given even more free gifts, meals, etc to show gratitude.. I mean.. they put their lives on the line 4 us each and everyday.. they could be called to battle at any time.. so its the very least I feel we, as a society, business owners, etc can do as expressions of gratitude. The concept that someone would really risk their life for me, my freedom, our country, amazes me. It is very heroic and they deserve to be honored each moment of each day. :)
