Comfy and Cozy in the MIDDLE of the bed ;)

Hubby and I are going to need a new bed. It's much easier for me to tell this now, while I'm the only one sleeping in it. This way I can get a better feel for the whole bed, since I can sprawl my sleepy frame right out in the middle. From the middle of the bed, I'm learning things. Like the fact that his side is a bit lower. If I try to roll just a little bit onto my side, I can't. The valley just right of center sucks me back. I'm wondering, when we get a new bed, if a sleep number bed would help prevent this from happening. My brother and sister-in-law got one a couple years ago. While I know they liked it at first, I haven't really asked how they've been sleeping lately. I'd call them and ask them now, but I guess it's just not really that important to me. Definitely not as important as my pregnant sister-in-law getting all the sleep she can now! I know better than to interrupt that....

We'd like a new bed but just don't feel like spending the money on one. Poor C.O. hangs off the ends. I fit fine but he doesn't since we only have a full size. Maybe someday . . .

a sleep number is definitely the way to go. Ours is just an air bed, but the number thing would be better

Hey there! We do love our sleepnumber but since Randy and I have different numbers, there is a cliff in the bed from his side down to mine. It would be difficult to co-sleep with a baby right in the middle. I put the positioner in the bed to take a look and it's slanted quite badly down on my side and up on Randy's. If you do get one, get a refurbished one or buy last years model--they take a lot of money off and are the same price as a regular mattress.

OMG. The valley is the WORST in a Sleepnumber bed. Don't do it. We had one for a month and it was the WORST month of my sleeping life. We sent it back for a refund, but the shipping back cost us $350. You don't just get to take it back to the store. You have to pay to ship it back to the factory.

It is two air chambers - two separate things, you know? With some foam in the middle that collapses within a week of purchase.

It is the worst thing we have ever spent money on. Seriously. I cannot say enough terrible things about the Sleepnumber bed. Total crap. And you know I tend to walk the middle of the line - as not to offend anyone. But I hated that damn bed. Horrible. Just sleep on the floor if you must, but don't buy one of those beds.
