Biased?

Eventually, I want my kids to be interested in playing with the band. When I was in band, I think I needed every accessory out there, since I played the flute, piccolo, oboe, and saxophone. The kids should have inherited a bit of musical skill, as hubby also played the french horn and the bass. Maybe once the kids pick a few instruments to play we can get a sponsor like Rico Suave and hit the road! ;)

But seriously, I've had the kids involved with music forever. As much as an initial instrument can cost, when you figure in the ongoing expenses of instrument maintenance and reeds, it is probably cheaper than a lot of sports with all of their equipment. I'm afraid to do an actual side by side comparison though. I'm sure we'll just go with whatever makes the kids happiest.
