Pretty but Functional!

I know I've mentioned the presence of music, and especially bass guitars, at our house before. What I didn't realize, while seeing these functional pieces of musicality in several rooms of my house, was that they could be prettier than the plain ones we have! Check out this classic squier jazz bass at musician's friend.

Maybe it's just the white that makes it 'pop,' (I think all of the ones we have are black..). But maybe that would make it too girly or something? I obviously don't know much about guitars - excuse me, basses - and should probably just stop before I offend someone!
