We've finally got the family room set up to function pretty well, baby gates and all. But now we have company coming and staying in our basement for a couple nights next week. Hubby's first dream was to get the bathroom done down there. Yeah, not-so-much.
A little easier would be to address that fact that we have some built-in shelves and a smaller tv set, but no premier mounts at standsandmounts. Would it make their stay more comfortable? Well, not as much as a bathroom on the same level where they're sleeping, but we do what we can.
I think we'll be lucky to clear some junk out of the way and get Maggie to help clean up the playroom. I promise they won't be roughing it - we have a queen sized bed with a heated mattress cover (the part I miss the most of that being our bed!), and the floor is carpeted. The walls may even be dry-walled, although I couldn't swear to it. They should be cozy and warm enough to get a good nights' sleep or two, even with their thin Florida blood ;)
