Well, hubby came up with a new way to encourage Maggie to get her PJs on when she was told the other day. Once she got ready, he offered to help her learn guitar. It worked for her then :) We always try to help encourage her to do the right thing instead of yelling and punishing for not complying fast enough. It usually works.
Right now? I'm trying to convince her to get ready for her bath. She says she's too sad. Why is she sad? Because I'm 'being mean' by not letting her play and telling her she has to get ready for her bath...with her mermaid barbies, even! Ugh... What a vicious cycle. But in the end we will have a mean mom, not a dirty kid. Just sayin...
