They say flowers don't last long enough as a gift, but I think the folks who say this are discounting the power of a memory. Every time I see a ProFlowers TV code or drive past a flower shop lately, I've been remembering the beautiful roses that hubby sent me for our wedding anniversary while he was in Germany.
It's even more touching to me that he had to go to so much trouble to get it done. The delivery place just didn't listen to his instructions and his mom had to follow up afterward to correct the florist's mistakes. Hubby not only ordered the flowers, he had to call in other people to make sure they got to me. How sweet is that? :D
