I hear about friends with insomnia. I remember when I was in college sometimes being able to stay awake for days. Now that I have a preschooler? I can't imagine needing the best sleeping pills. I found a box of sleeping pills packed away in an old desk as I was moving some stuff, and tried to remember needing them. Somehow now it seems that as long as I can keep myself awake, there's stuff to get done!
Thinking back a little further, I remember being a teenager and wanting to sleep in later than my parents. Someday, Maggie will probably get to that point. Then, I may take advantage of a little additional incentive to catch up on some of that sleep I've missed in years passed. ;)
funny how sleeping needs are cyclical. Babies, new moms, and old folks always need more sleep. Then there's the age where you don't want to miss anything. That would be your little one and myself. Of course when you can sleep anytime you want then why would you want to.
I love sleep. Life is so busy.
