Random Tuesday Thoughts

randomtuesday

I actually finished my list of people to call from yesterday to my satisfaction. There was one who only wants calls in the evening (and I was busy then) and one that hubby called her hubby instead, but all my goals were accomplished :) I was even more impressed with myself after one of the first calls was all, "No. Not interested." It's okay, self, she's just not interested in the product. It has nothing to do with you!

I'm fighting a headache today. I didn't have my Cherry Coke til this afternoon, and I even tried using it to wash down an Aleve sinus pill...still fighting.

Maggie went down for her nap about 45 minutes ago...she's still in there talking. Goofball. As long as she stays in there resting, I'm good.

I can't believe after working so much in August, I practically have two weeks off now! Labor Day weekend kind of crosses off a big chunk of the calendar. If you or anyone you know would like a chocolate party before September 14, please let me know! I'll give something special to not have such a long vacation. (How crazy is that??)

Tonight's project is a buttload of mailing stuff. Which means tomorrow will have the post office on the errand list. Looking at stamps makes Maggie have to pee. As soon as we walk into the post office and get in line, she says, "Mommy? I have to pee." Yes, the post office is the only place with no public restroom.

Funny Maggie moment: We watched the original Nanny McPhee the other night. I got it because I love Maggie Gyllenhaal. Unfortunately, she's only in the movie still in theaters, which is Nanny McPhee Returns. Toward the end of the movie, while I was still figuring this out, I asked hubby, "Where's Maggie? I guess she's not in this one." From the couch I hear, "I'm on the couch! And I'm not in the movie!" Like it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever said. I realized it right away and started laughing so hard. Again I say, Goofball!
