You know me and redecorating (or at least thinking about it) lately...but my thoughts this morning were on how nice our bathroom turned out! It's been almost a year now, but I'm still really happy with our new tub/shower and the tiles on the ceiling above. The old enclosure just had a painted ceiling above, and it got icky and the paint started peeling. That's the last thing I wanted to look at while rinsing my hair clean...
We knew right away that we wanted bathroom tiles instead of paint when we re-did it all. The only decision was whether to get fancy ones or not. At the time I was kind of bummed to give in and get the plain ones, but we figured if someone wanted to re-do it again someday, they wouldn't want to have to match the colors of our pretty tiles. Fair enough. We went with the glossy white.
It still looks nice and fresh today, nearly a year later! Pretty tiles, plain tiles or subway tiles were the way to go!

I love this in our bathroom too. It is so much easier to clean and always looks good.
