You're Gonna What??

Isn't it funny how two people can think something completely different is necessary in the same situation?
My computer is currently an old boat-anchor, and I'm pretty sure it's completely overrun with viruses and yuckiness that keeps it from performing as well as I remember it doing before.
Hubby's laptop was essentially dead when we got it (hand-me down...) and has only gotten more moody as time goes by. I'm not sure exactly what's wrong with it, I only know the end result isn't pretty. He said part of its performance has something to do with the house network stuff. The conversation could have ended here for me.
But he went on to talk about running CAT5 cable and maybe a KVM switch. I hope this has nothing to do with me personally, because I have no idea what any of it meant...Hopefully it will just make us more connected - to the internet, that is!
