Had to share

How's the economy where you are? I'm just outside Detroit, and things are very scary right about now. I'm usually pretty good about avoiding the news and keeping my head in the sand, but as the prospects get more bleak, it's hard to watch friends and family losing their jobs, moving to try to find better ones, and just struggling and worrying how long it can last.

Here's a little video someone shared on a forum I'm on. The clip is about the far-reaching effects of the auto industry.

It's really not looking good for the car companies. I just don't know what is going to happen.

Hang onto your hats. This could get rough.

It is also scary around central Texas as well.

Did a craft show in late October that was a huge success last year and barely sold enough to pay booth fees!

Electric, propane and water are costing us more. Gasoline find settled down but groceries and basics are all higher but our incomes are lower.

I hate to see our government continue to bail folks out that can not manage their businesses!

We the taxpayer end up footing the bills.

Indeed sad to hear about the news nowadays especially during this festive season. No matter how gloomy it may be, we have to continue to move forward. I can only hope that those affected will be able to move on to better things soon. Wishing goodness to everyone.

it's scary in Texas too. what's also scary is it seems burglars are feeling the pinch and that crime is up everywhere too.

I agree, things are rough. I hear it's all over the country. Though they say it's worse here in Michigan. Thanks for sharing.
