Don't Need Nothing...But a Good Time

And a good time was had by all. I finished a dozen or so scrapbook pages for Maggie's baby book while visiting, working on one of my part-time jobs, snacking, and winning a ribbon for "Most Shining Moment." Yeah, you'll notice sleep wasn't listed there. Hahahaha...

It was also my first weekend away from my baby, and it went reasonably well. I was only five miles away, and I did end up running home to help for less than an hour on Friday night. It worked out. It kind of reminded me of when she was teeny-tiny and I just didn't know what to do when she cried. Sometimes there just isn't anything you can do, but nursing usually helps. If hubby could lactate, I'm sure he'd have had an easier time of it ;)

Now I'm trying to get back into the groove. And I need to get back quickly - I've got chocolate parties this week Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. My goal is to be done with my editing job by Thursday, and have my pictures done for my other job by Thursday as well. I also need to finish a quarter of my writing for the other job today, and at least a quarter tomorrow (depending on whether I go to Stroller Strides). We'll see how it all works out!

I wish I had another weekend away to look forward to!
