Hey Daddy!!

I heard what you said on the phone this afternoon, daddy, so here's a picture I had mom take after lunch. She was doing something in the hallway, and when she was done with the hammer, I figured I'd see what I could do with it. Eventually (after taking my picture, of course) she took it back and put it away.

While she was putting it away, I snuck into the bathroom. I played with my shampoo for a few minutes (but that was boring, I do that all the time), then I gave the roll of toilet paper a few spins. While I was watching the toilet paper accumulate on the floor, I saw something in the trash can that really caught my attention. So I grabbed it. And ate it. It was really good. I only got to enjoy that for a few minutes before mom yelled, "Yucky!" and started squeezing my cheeks til I lost a few pieces. She said, "That food was too stale for the cat, that's why it's in the trash! Don't eat it!" Then she sort of laughed, so I don't think she was really too mad. She also said, "Ew!!" a few more times.

I don't know what the big deal was.

Too cute!! I'm sure daddy loves all the little updates. What a great idea!

Yeah...I think the biggest mistake I've made as a parent so far is showing Scout how to throw away her own diapers. She loves "helping" mommy, but then she gets too curious and wants to stick her hand in the trash to dig for treasures. Yikes!

That is so cute. Kids always seem to want to eat anything.
