Wahoo!!

Well, hubby finished up Maggie's fabulous (and huge) play area in time for her birthday party yesterday. We already had an enormous deck, so he took one end of it, tore off the dilapidated railings, put on a lattice roof (to protect her from most of the sun) and lattice walls (lined on the inside with screen so she doesn't get splinters). Then he put the green indoor/outdoor carpet inside (to protect her little footy-wooties) from the rough old wood of the deck), and we added some of those thick, foamy, toddler-safe flooring tiles to the middle, and assembled her playhouse from Gramps inside. The door is a nifty little thing I saw on the Toys R Us site and had to have. The doorbell really works!! Here's a couple pics:
