Just over a week ago, we had a dedication (also called a naming ceremony) for Maggie at the Universalist Unitarian church we attend. It was a beautiful ceremony. Maggie wore the christening gown my mom made for me 35 years ago. My younger brother also wore it when he was baptized. Here's a couple pictures my father-in-law took. My mom wants me to put her back in the dress and take more pictures, because we really didn't get any of just her in the gorgeous gown.
We had little matching necklaces on that my mom got us when Maggie was first born.
Here's a picture during the ceremony.

You have an awesome family there. That baby? Fabulous.
It was a beautiful ceremony. And Maggie was great for the whole thing. I'd still like a picture of just her in the gown lol just sayin
such a gorgeous family!!!
I was just looking at the photo in the parking lot again, and your purse in the background looks like fluffy stuff trailing from her headband. Very cute. Even if it is just your purse.
I tend to agree with your mum. Get Maggie all dressed up again and take a lot of pics. She will grow so fast and you may not be able to fit her into her gown.
I tell my customers to get the photos done the week prior the christening. Pick a day when the baby is placid. Christenings tend to be a crowded and noisy afair, don't you agree ? Dana
