1 pound cooked spaghetti
2 TBSP Butter or Margarine (melted)
1 cup parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping if desired.
24 oz. container small curd cottage cheese
32 oz. spaghetti sauce
1 pound (or more) browned ground beef or turkey.
-Cook and cool pasta
-Brown ground meat and add sauce, simmer for 20 minutes and cool slightly.
-Preheat oven to 350'
-Combine first 4 ingredients together and spread onto the bottom of one 9x13 and one 9x9 casserole dishes. (You read that right, you need two pans; you can however get by with using one pan it just needs to be a deep 9x13 pan. I will sometime buy the throw-away aluminum one at the grocery store; they're very deep and require no cleaning afterwards)
-Add a layer of cottage cheese using all 24 oz.
-Add layer of meat sauce to the top.
-Sprinkle with any extra Parmesan cheese you have.
-Bake for 30 minutes and enjoy.
