When you spend chunks of time traveling and otherwise away from home, sometimes a relaxing weekend at home is just perfect.
Yesterday we took advantage of a FREE matinee at Goodrich Quality Theaters. If there's one near you, I'd recommend checking it out. We saw Shrek the Third and even brought little Maggie along. I figured no one could complain if she fussed a little at a free movie, right? She actually did really well. The first half was spent in her carseat. I thought she'd fall asleep, but she was fascinated by the big screen and loud music. After the intermission (yes, they have intermission at the free movies), I tried to nurse her, but she was still trying to watch the movie. She made a few little baby squeeling noises, but just happy talking ones, so I stayed put with her. All in all, it was a successful adventure.
Today? No plans yet. I'm trying to get a jump on my work week...
