I feel so bad waiting for her to fall asleep all the time...I would love to be able to keep her up and play with her as long as she'd let me, but today I have that interview. I need to leave her in 1 1/2 hours, and I still need to shower, put on make-up, get dressed, complete the application and print out my resume and eat something so I don't starve to death before I get home a couple hours after that...
I'm sorry, baby - I feel like a pretty crappy mommy today. :(

I found the best way for me to be able to get ready when Bailey was a baby was to put her in a bouncer or a pack-n-play and play peek-a-boo through the shower curtain if she started to cry.
