Thirteen years ago today my best friend, Colleen, hung herself. It just got to be too much and I seldom blame her anymore. There were a good ten years or so when I could have done the same thing. But then it happened again. In 2001 my cousin shot himself and I had to promise never to hurt my parents that way. That's when I became stuck here. So now I try, try my hardest to keep everyone happy. Sometimes I come close.
