So seeing The Passion of the Christ prompted a Texas man to confess to murdering his girlfriend. He had actually had his pregnant girlfriend write a suicide note before he hung her. After seeing the film, he said he 'felt remorse.'
Whoa. I've had movies evoke emotion before, but I think that confession proves he was unhinged (if hanging his girlfriend wasn't proof enough...).
Sometimes truth really is stranger than fiction.
