I've been thinking a lot lately about what I'd rather be doing. Not rather than posting right now, I mean, rather than the miserable sucky job I have right now.
I came up with something.
It's just an instinct, really. I don't have a lot of experience or anything, but I've talked to someone who's done it who thinks it matches my strengths...
I'm looking at going into social services. Specifically, probably teens or domestic violence. Sounds kinda crazy (even to me, and it's my idea) but I'm finally excited. A friend (the buy-a-friend, actually) is sending me a list of places to call and ask if they have any openings.
I need to do something that makes a difference - that really means something to someone - that isn't just peddling retail crap.
