Everything's pretty stagnant here. Leaving the office early (a good thing) to head to the dentist and to (wonder of wonders) close a candle show. And being at that end of town means dinner with the 'rents. Another good thing. Lil brother's on vacation all week - hanging out at home. He's coming over to my place tomorrow to fix up my entertainment center, as it is...The phrase 'entertainment center' in relation to the stack of tv, dvd,vcr in my living room is entirely tongue in cheek. Be that as it may (boy is that fun to say!), he's coming over tomorrow and I'm cooking dinner. It's all good.
Only another week and a half til Womenfest! Mom and I have been going for 10+ years now! Wow!! My fun stuff that day will include a Pampered Chef demonstration and a presentation on writing your memoirs by Tekla Dennison Miller, the author of The Warden Wore Pink. Awesome book about her career. She was the first female prison warden in Michigan. There's another book by her about her life before her career. I plan to look into that one as well. Hoping she speaks as well as she writes...
Well, still not much here, kiddies, just wanted to drop by and prove I still exist....
