06 November 2002

NaNoWriMo has begun once again! I wrote diligently for an hour right at midnight on November 1st, but that's been it so far. That night I flew to Vegas for my cousin's wedding the next day. It was supposed to be a weekend vacation and then driving back with the family Monday and Tuesday, but it all got shifted about Sunday morning. Back in Detroit, grandpa died. So we started driving right away Sunday. About half way back (somewhere in Nebraska, maybe?) I decided to start my novel over fresh. So that's on my list to do tonight...or maybe tomorrow. Anyway, we got back home around 3am on Tuesday, to spend all day Tuesday at the funeral home. Overall, not so fun.

So the next couple days - okay, maybe the rest of the month - promises to be nutso. My candle biz is going great (as long as we assume giving up sleeping and eating for it is 'great') and I am now out of time off....

I know, I know...I'd complain if they hung me with a new rope! I'll be fine - just hoping the light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train!
