Want to know a secret? I was watching Maggie at her ice-skating birthday party yesterday, and I could actually picture myself out on the ice, just for fun, skating around with my girl.
I'm not much into, you know, physical activity. But I used to skate pretty well, and hopefully I wouldn't break anything important if I tried it again. I told Maggie maybe we can go as a mommy/daughter date some time. Which of course led her to suggest TOMORROW, and I had to explain that a mommy/daughter date can't happen with Jack along. ;)
Once daddy's home, and we have a free afternoon that happens to coincide with open skate, maybe she and I can go make a few laps and have fun together.
