Okay, I've gone back and forth about requesting this one, but seeing yet another book that I couldn't just 'buy' has made up my mind.
I want a Kindle or comparable e-reader. I really don't know much about them, as I honestly like holding real books while I read. I've used my mom's Kindle before, and it was pretty cool, but overall I don't think there are a lot of reasons I'd buy one for myself.
Except I'm getting tired of going to get recommended books and seeing them only available for e-readers. Or books I wouldn't mind reading, free for a limited time.. for e-readers.
So I'm giving in to peer pressure. And trusting someone else's judgment to get me what I need in an e-reader.

I'm with you I wouldn't have bought the Kindle, but I love the gift of my Kindle :) I still read real paper books too. If you get one I'll have to figure out how to share books.
