If I ever find that I have, you know, too much time on my hands, I'd love to try jewelry making. There was a woman at an event I was working tonight who made gorgeous jewelry with polished stones held to pendants with wire. They were simple yet striking.
While you don't usually hear someone say they need more jewelry, I still think it often makes a great gift. It's also very thoughtful, as I remember who gifted me many of the jewelry pieces I have. Just imagine being able to say you created something because you were thinking of someone. How sweet!
