I know I put down that I'd start exercising. I'm in a rather unique position in that I don't look like I 'need' to exercise, but I'm not in shape at all. I just don't have extra weight either. While I wouldn't mind some muscle tone, my biggest goal is better cardiovascular health, I think.
With all the excellent trails by my house, it would be fun to just grab some Leki Poles, start walking and call it exercise, but I think I could walk forever if I was setting the pace. For my exercise goal, I'm thinking of joining some sort of Zumba or other music/dance-ish sort of class. I used to enjoy doing aerobics, and I think I'm after something similar again. What would you recommend?

I loved the classes at my YMCA. They had "total body workout" and other classes that had some cardio but also muscle toning. I also enjoyed circuit training and spin classes. Spin is largely cardio without much muscle toning, especially above the waist. They also had pilates and yoga which were fun. Too bad I cancelled our membership! :-) Now I just do running, some walking and some biking. And every once in a while some circuit training/toning while watching tv. Who has time for working out!?
Walking is the simplest of all. Just put one foot in front of the other :) I think there's a song like that. :)
