Supermoon Saturday!

Thanks for the heads-up, Tammy!

Tonight be sure to go outside and check out the "Supermoon." The moon will look bigger and brighter because it is the closest it has been to the Earth in nearly 20 years.

The full moon, or supermoon, rising in the east at sunset on March 19 will appear 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter at its peak. The moon will be more than 221,960 miles away - the closest it has been to earth since March 1993.
