I really wanted to work on the outside of the house to surprise hubby, but the very best time to do that would have been yesterday (so the yuckies could have gone out with this morning's trash pick-up). Oh well. I've still got a really easy plan I've been holding back.
A couple months ago, the address plaque that was by our front door got broken and fell down. I didn't think it was a big deal, but luckily I think I just set it on a shelf in the garage instead of throwing it away. It turned out hubby really liked it. I think it may have been a house-warming gift when he moved in, so he'd have an address sign by the door of his new house.
Anyway, I think it's still out in the garage, and it would be a great surprise to fix it up and hang it by the door again. We may not be agreeing on what home address plaques should look like, but we do both think there should be one there!
