Next Wednesday will be Christmas Eve. I'm ready enough for the holiday. Luckily Maggie isn't old enough yet to have many expectations. I went into the holiday season totally gung-ho (after practically missing the whole thing last year), and my enthusiasm is somehow nearly maintaining, if that makes any sense. I've decided to modify my focus now that I feel my 'responsibilities' are mostly covered.
I want everyone to be happy this holiday season. Yeah, probably not possible. But I'm trying to do what I can to help. Smiling at people, giving what I can (although it isn't much) to help those less fortunate, leaving comments (hey, they always make me happy!)...just basically trying not to be the bad pill in anyone's day. Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone did just one extra nice thing today?
Even if you don't feel like smiling today - "Fake it til you make it!" Hope you find something to truly smile about this humpday!

Holy crap, you're right. Next Wed is Christmas Eve! That is so awesome, we have presents to wrap and a few more things to pick up but it's gonna be great.
