Man's work...

Around here, certain things are man's work. Things like putting new sheets on the bed, clipping the baby's fingernails, and deciding whether we need more Mac memory. Oh, and cutting the grass and taking care of the cars. We are, of course, an equal opportunity household though. I take the garbage to the garage (and sometimes the street). I do the laundry. I do most of the diaper changes (you know it's true!). And I am the exclusive nurser of the baby ;)

What tasks in your house have consistently fallen to a particular family member?

dh does laundry! We split mowing the yard, i always mow the front and he does the back, for some reason the front needs it 2x as much?? I take car of car stuff and basicly all repairs. Everything else we split pretty well except when he is out of town then it is all me, good thing we have enough clothes to last through those times ;)

Well - Honey cooks and cleans the kitchen, I mow and do the laundry, and clean the rest of the house - he does the trash, I do the cat litter and as for the rest, well, whoever manages to get to it first

Gosh, your hubby puts sheets on the bed. Lucky you. I'm going to send my hubby over for some lessons. LOL!!

I basically do inside and he does outside. Oh yeah, and all the driving of the rv.

I am also the exclusive nurser of the baby :-) We pretty much share all the tasks, and the person who does them just depends on who is free at the moment. He has been washing the laundry b/c we do it at his parents in the basement, but soon I'll have that privilege at our new house! I'm happy for it, in all honesty. And I always fold, b/c I'm a bit uptight about how things get folded and put away.

Inside of the house = my job, outside = his job. Now, we do help each other out, but that is pretty much how it goes. I kinda feel like I got more work out of the deal though!
