More Successful Garage Sale-ing

The garage sale was a success! Our group made $812 for our sale, which is our biggest fund raiser each year. Between the subdivision that garage sale was a part of, and the subdivision garage sales across the street from our house, I ended up getting some books, a couple picture frames, a surprise for my sister-in-law (Sarah, that is...), and a shirt and pair of play pants for Maggie. I passed on a couple of kitchen sinks people had out for sale. How do you end up with an extra one of those? I suppose we haven't done enough remodeling yet to know! Hahaha...

I hear it was a big garage sale weekend everywhere - what were your big finds?

we went to one near Berrin Springs that had a lot of cool stuff, unfortunately, we didn't want to store it for 3 months til we get home. A sweet rocker for peanut was only $5. I hated leaving that.

I still haven't found any great deals yet. Just clothes for Katie it seems like. Clothes for Kevin are getting harder to find.. maybe because boys tend to wear them out?!?

I didn't go to any but my little guy was going to a friends house and that sub was having a garage sale. It was crazy. Their were car's and people everywhere and no one was looking where they were going. I just dropped him off and got out of there. CRAZY
