Good Finds!

The big project my sister-in-law and I undertook last weekend was going to garage sales! Yay!! Actually, we decided we prefer yard sales to garage sales, because some people's garages are stinky. Just sayin.

Our mission was to get a high chair to leave at the cottage for little Maggie, and to look for clothers for her. Luckily we weren't trying to get her toys yet, because I don't think we saw any (besides stuffed animals, but I think garage or yard sale stuffed animals are kind of skeevy).

We did find a high chair that the guy was asking $7 for (I talked him down to $6), and a woman had a BUNCH of different size kid clothes - that were brand new - for pretty cheap. I got three outfits (tops and bottoms) plus another fleece top for just $20. And this was new stuff with the tags on - jackpot! Here's Maggie in one of her new outfits that I just LOVE! It's a little khaki skort with the pink t-shirt. Little girls are so much fun to dress up :)

Skorts on little girls are just too cute. She's a doll!

I love garage sales for baby stuff. The best thing is here when they host giant baby/kid sales in school parking lots and like 200 people buy space to sell their stuff... makes it easy all in once place ;)

I did yard/garage sales last weekend too. I mostly bought books but I buy books pretty much everywhere so that's not surprising! (NCLM)

I don't know nothing about dressing up little girls with all boys but I do know Maggie sure looks cute!

She looks so cute in that outfit. Looks like the skort is short enough too so she won't trip on it when crawling.
