Last night's party was a blast, as expected. It was two and a half floors of a hotel downtown, with free food and drinks (alcoholic and not), lots of candy and goodies, virtual reality video games, pictures, and crazy entertainment including a surprise appearance by Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker. My company definitely knows how to throw a party :)

Today we spent most of the day (after frantically trying to get ready in time), at my man's family holiday parties. First was his mom's family. Probably over a hundred people, lots of good food, a crazy white elephant gift swap, and my man as Santa Claus to give presents from their parents to the little kiddies. From there we went to his dad's side of the family for a birthday party. Nice and peaceful, in comparison. Maybe 15 or so people who had finished dinner while we were at the other party and were just starting to sing the birthday song as we arrived. All in all, a very good day.
