Sorry I haven't been around lately. With all the work we're doing (translation: hubby's doing most of it...) around the house, I can't really take the time to slack off on the computer, ya know?
So, I've been reading The Tipping Point lately and actually finding it quite interesting. At first I was afraid I'd bought another textbook (as happens to me from time to time...don't ask), but it picked up quick. The author talks about a certain kind of person called a 'Connector,' who basically collects people they know like others collect stamps or coins. Wait, they say it better. They don't collect them in their basement or anything, they just collect the fact that they know them as an acquaintance or whatever. Anyway. Reading about Connectors reminded me to update my birthday book. See, for a few years now I've enjoyed sending birthday cards to my 40 or so cousins, their kids, all my aunts and uncles, and other friends and family I've met along the way. I don't know why, but I just get a kick out of it.

Want a birthday card from me? Leave me your email address in a comment and I'll get the rest of your info :)
