From Tuesday to Friday just like that? What a crazy week!
Not sure if I mentioned it, but where I'm working right now is a foreign-owned company. The person before me was a loser who screwed everything up. So this week, they sent someone over the big pond to our office to see what's up. He's asking me questions about how we do things, like I have any idea after less than a month! Luckily today is the last day with him in the office.

Looking forward to lots of chilling up north this weekend (that's what Michiganders do on a holiday weekend, we go 'up north'). It'll just be me, the man and his dad. First off they'll be working on cottage-y stuff and boat-y stuff, so I'll be reading and napping in turn. I've also been promised putt-putt golf (which I'm excited about, thank-you-very-much!), lotsa ice cream and long walks on the beach...Yippee!!!

Business also has a potential 'looking up' aspect to it (this is my candle business here, not this silly job thing..). I got a call yesterday to do a multi-company open house at the end of July. The woman running it got the hall for free, so we're just chipping in refreshments. I'm hoping to get some more contacts closer to home, since I'm currently driving an hour or so to do shows. Keep your fingers crossed that the open house goes through, and is successful!
